Frequently Asked Questions

What are your shipping and return policies?

Please see our dedicated page for shipping and returns information: Shipping and Returns

Do you offer wholesale discounts?

We are a dedicated wholesale company, and our list pricing is already set with makers in mind. We do offer bulk discounts when purchasing larger quantities, which you can read about on our Stock Up and Save page.

What happens if I order something that's out of stock?

While we work hard to maintain accurate inventory, the rare discrepancy can sometimes occur. If an item is out of stock after you place your order, we will cancel that specific item and follow up with an email to discuss options.

Why does the color sometimes vary between pictures on the website or from my last order?

Our finishes are made in small production batches, so you may notice slight variations in tone from time to time. In addition, screen settings and lighting can affect how colors appear in photos. These small differences are normal in plated materials and are part of the handmade production process we work with.

Are your findings exclusive to your shop?

Many of our charm designs are exclusive to our shop and created using the lost wax technique.

We also curate unique pieces such as antique coins and medals, which we carefully source and transform into wearable components by casting and adding jump rings and finishing them to match our collections.

Because of this mix, you’ll find a combination of original designs and thoughtfully sourced pieces not easily found elsewhere.

How do I care for my charms and findings?

Keep all components dry and store them in sealed bags or airtight containers when not in use. We recommend minimizing contact with water and personal care products (such as perfumes and lotions), as these can gradually affect the plating over time.

What makes our gold plating different?

Most jewelry supply shops use “flash” plating, a very thin layer of gold that can fade, rub off, or even develop green spots as the base metal reacts with air and moisture.

We don’t use flash plating. Our findings are plated with a thicker layer of real 18K gold for a deeper, longer-lasting finish. Each layer is carefully applied over a strong base metal, creating a smooth surface that resists tarnish, oxidation, and fading. With a little care your pieces stay bright and beautiful through daily wear.

Why did we choose 18K gold to plate our jewelry?

We chose real 18K gold plating for its perfect balance of warmth, richness, and durability. Compared to 14K gold plating, 18K gold contains more pure gold, giving it a richer, more luxurious color that closely resembles that of fine jewelry.

What makes our pewter antiquing different?

Many mass-produced antiqued finishes can fade quickly or look uneven. At our shop, we take a more thoughtful approach. Each piece goes through a careful multi-step process that builds a deep, even pewter tone with smooth texture and rich contrast. We chose a matte pewter finish to give each piece a refined, sophisticated look that stands up to daily wear and keeps its elegance over time.

What kinds of base materials do you use?

Our chains are made from durable base metals such as steel or brass before being plated. Our findings are crafted from either brass or solid pewter, depending on the design. Brass components are plated and finished in one of our signature finishes. Solid pewter pieces may be left unplated and simply antiqued, or they are plated in satin or antiqued gold, depending on the style.
