WHAT MAKES OUR PLATING DIFFERENT
Many jewelry supply shops use “flash” plating—a very thin layer of gold that may fade or wear away over time. Many of our pieces are plated in our own facility, where we oversee the process and carefully apply each finish.
We don’t use flash plating. Our findings are double-plated with real 18K gold for a rich, lasting finish. Each layer is carefully applied over a strong base metal to create a smooth surface. With proper care—keeping your pieces dry and away from chemicals—the plating can stay beautiful longer.

We chose REAL 18K gold plating for its perfect balance of warmth, richness, and durability. Compared to 14K gold plating, 18K gold contains more pure gold, giving it a richer, more luxurious color that closely resembles fine jewelry.

SATIN 18K GOLD PLATED

Our satin gold finish begins with a layer of real 18K gold plating. Each piece is then dipped into a special matte solution that gently alters the surface texture, creating a smooth, non-reflective finish with a soft glow. The result is a modern, understated look that sets it apart from traditional high-shine plating.

Matte Gold vs. Satin Gold

Matte gold has no shine and a completely flat, velvety look. Satin gold, on the other hand, has a subtle, gentle glow: less shiny than polished gold, but more reflective than matte, making it the perfect balance between the two.
